FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does fulfillment take?

Most of our products are created especially for YOU, starting when you order your product.  You can't buy our products off the rack, that's why we're Edgy!

With that in mind, most products are created between 2-7 business days after your order is received.  Then you add shipping time on top of that.  Most products will include a shipment tracking number as well, allowing you to follow your order's progress.

We use several different suppliers for our products.  Your order may contain items from different suppliers, resulting in separate shipments.  All orders should be fulfilled in approximately the same time frame.  If you have a concern about your order, please notify us immediately.

I found the design I like.  Can I get a different color shirt or ink?

There are many different shirt colors available, unfortunately too many to properly display on the website.  If you're looking for another shirt color, PLEASE contact us using our website's Contact Us webform.  Or you can contact us through Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.  If you're looking for another color ink, contact us and our design team will work with you to try to make your wishes come true!

I can't find my school, or I like a design for another school, but don't see that design for my school.

If you can't find your school and have already tried using the website's search function, PLEASE contact us using our website's Contact Us webform.  Or you can contact us through Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.  We want to know if your school is not represented!  We'll work ASAP to get your school included, and we'll let you know as soon as we do.

I like a design, but don't see it on the product I had in mind.  What other products might be available?

Wow, are we glad you asked!  Our designs are available on MANY products, including t-shirts, tanks, sweatshirts, socks, sweatpants, leggings, shorts, jackets, skirts, dresses, swimwear, sports bras, bodysuits, baby bibs, baby bodysuits, hats, bags, backpacks, cellphones cases, jewelry, flip flops, mugs, stickers, pillows, wall art, beach towels, and bean bags.  Whew!  If you are looking for another product not listed, PLEASE contact us using our website's Contact Us webform.  Or you can contact us through Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.  New products are made available all the time.  Unfortunately we can't display every design on every available product, or we'd melt the Internet!

Why do you have so many menu catagories?

Well, we have a lot of stuff!  Our website only allows for 3 levels of sub-menus, which doesn't quite fit all the items we want to provide.  If you're having trouble locating an item using the menus, we suggest using the search function, located at both the top and bottom of the webpage.

What is Print-On-Demand?

Print-On-Demand (POD) is the process used to custom print your items as soon as you place your order.

Why might my shirt have a vinegar smell?

When unpacking a new shirt or hoodie with a direct-to-garment (DTG) print, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue.  Don't worry, that's not unusual - it's from a fixation agent applied during the printing process and it's not permanent.

Fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) is used for all DTG prints across the industry.  It helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment.

The solution is simply to wash the garment!  Neither the residue nor the smell is permanent and both should go away after one wash.  If the discoloration is noticeable, the quality control team will include a card explaining that it's from the fixation agent. (from Printful.com)

If an item or color I've ordered is out-of-stock, will an alternative product be used?

Our printing vendors attempt to keep all available variants on hand, however occasionally products are out-of-stock.  In an effort to avoid out-of-stock delays, if a similar alternative product is available, our printing vendors will fill the order using the alternative product.

Where do we get our designs?

Our designs fall mainly into 3 categories:

Some of our designs are created in-house.  Those are usually tagged with #EdgyOriginals.

A lot of our designs are inspired by our local schools and history.  Those are usually tagged with #EdgyOriginals, #LocallyInspired, and/or #HistoricallyInspired.

Some of our designs are acquired through free and subscription-based online sources and were created by other talented creators.  Those designs are usually tagged with #SupportingOtherCreators.  We occasionally rework the designs of other creators to suit our needs, and tag those with #Remix.
